At the summit, several people talked about having a statewide library card, which I think is a great idea, especially for statewide resource sharing. I'd also like to see validation for access to the core electronic databases by both IP address and login (using the statewide card). That way, if you were in Ohio, you could access the databases without logging in (as long as you had an Ohio IP address), but if you were traveling outside Ohio, you could use your username and password. Jo says that statewide IP access is available already, but that it's still a bit clunky.
